THE POSITION

The Brattle Group is seeking a motivated and flexible individual for a full-time Administrative and Operations Assistant in our Washington, DC office.  This position reports to the Business Support Services (BSS) Manager and is responsible for providing support to The Brattle Group’s Washington, DC office, including administrative support as well as facilities support including reception duties, office maintenance, and catering/meeting set-ups.

The core duties of this position include:

  • Provide administrative and project support to consulting staff and other project team members;
  • Coordinate travel and manage travel itineraries;
  • Assist with monthly billing including coordination of timesheets and compiling invoice packets;
  • Provide formatting, editing, and proofreading support for work products;
  • Assist with copying, binding, filing, archiving, document management, and materials distribution;
  • Update and maintain client listings in CRM;
  • Answer and route office phone calls and act as first point of contact for visitors;
  • Maintain all reception related documents and schedules (e.g., New Employee and Visitor Guides, phone lists, office information, conference room schedules, etc.);
  • Conduct meeting set-up and clean-up and ensure daily neatness of conference rooms and general office space;
  • Assist with planning and coordination of office social events and other BSS initiatives;
  • Provide backup support to the Facilities Coordinator as necessary.

THE CANDIDATE

This position requires strong organizational, collaboration, and time management skills, as well as the ability to handle numerous responsibilities and deliverables.  The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2+ years of administrative experience ideally in professional services environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
  • Strong ability to take initiative and ownership of projects
  • Must be self-motivated, work independently, and keep in constant communication with team members and manager
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and exercises appropriate judgment
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced office environment handling multiple tasks and demands concurrently
