Facilities Coordinator

Location: Boston, MA



The Brattle Group is seeking a motivated and flexible individual with strong customer service and communication skills for a full-time Facilities Coordinator position to support the facilities and catering needs of our Boston, MA office. The position is responsible for ensuring that the relevant areas of the office are cleaned, maintained, stocked, and orderly and assists with catering orders, meeting/event setups, and breakdowns.  This position will also provide general office support and participate in special projects as needed, reporting to the Office Manager.

Some of the day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:

  • Track, order, receive, stock, and maintain inventory of snacks, beverages, and office supplies;
  • Ensure that café areas are clean, stocked, and organized, that equipment is maintained and functioning, and that dishwashers are loaded, run, and unloaded throughout the day;
  • Ensure neatness of general office space including printer areas, copy stations, restrooms, and conference rooms and that supplies are stocked;
  • Assist with general facilities requests and repairs as needed (e.g., arranging furniture, setting up/adjusting monitor arms, and hanging pictures and whiteboards);
  • Assist in new hire onboarding and ensure incoming/outgoing employee workstations are clean and stocked and have proper equipment;
  • Reconcile and code all relevant facilities/catering invoices and submit to Office Manager;
  • Ensure all mailing needs of the office are met;
  • Provide backup reception support as needed;
  • Assist Office Manager with planning and execution of office social events such as weekly happy hour parties, summer outings, holiday parties, etc.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred;
  • Minimum of three (3) years facilities, office support, and/or hospitality experience in a professional setting preferred;
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel required;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced office environment handling multiple tasks and demands concurrently;
  • Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude required;
  • Ability to exercise appropriate judgment and maintain confidentiality;
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail;
  • Ability to adapt easily to change;
  • Requires lifting of boxes and moving of furniture up to 40 lbs.;
  • Ability to work effectively and interact with clients, team members, and third-party vendors and service providers;
  • Evening/weekend work and occasional travel/remote work may be required.
