What We Need

We are actively seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner - IT to be based in our Royston (SG8) HQ on a permanent basis.

The Senior TA Partner, IT will work closely with the UK TA team to provide an outstanding recruitment service for IT and related roles. A key objective is to source and attract high quality candidates via direct sourcing methods, often within a short time frame.

Key responsibilities 

  • Manage an end to end recruitment process for roles including; vacancy planning to meet time to hire targets, defining and managing go to market strategy to ensure adequate quality and quantity of candidates, including sourcing for defined roles, pre-selection of candidates to generate shortlists, advising on and facilitating selection activities.

  • Act as the primary agent for queries from candidates, hiring managers and the wider HR team, ensuring positive candidate and stakeholder experience

  • Partner effectively with hiring managers to drive a world class approach to recruiting top talent in a competitive market

  • Create and implement the most effective attraction campaigns, utilising job boards, websites, media, innovative recruitment methods or agencies, if required.

  • Build talent pipelines and candidate channels for key positions and skill-sets

  • Working with the Recruitment Administration function to ensure that all administrative processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner, including applicant tracking, postings, source tracking, interview scheduling, and offers

  • Use of the company’s Application Management System (AMS), talent pool, job boards, LinkedIn, and agencies to complete campaigns in a timely manner.

  • Continually review and monitor live recruitment campaigns, updating managers in providing all relevant information.

  • Prepare and submit a shortlist of suitable candidates for applicable stakeholders to review.

  • Engage candidates throughout the recruitment attraction and shortlisting phase, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience by providing timely responses and feedback.

  • Proactively drive the selection process forward by efficient scheduling of assessments and interviews.

  • Provide hiring managers with the appropriate assessment materials.

  • Actively track and review Recruitment KPIs.

  • Manage the preferred supplier list (PSL), negotiating rates where necessary.

  • Negotiate terms and rates with specialist online job boards

  • Research and review of recruiting trends, candidate sourcing techniques including social media and best practice

  • Continually strive to improve recruitment processes and strategies. Monitor employment laws and policies, hiring processes and make recommendations for change as needed. Provide information and training to hiring managers

  • Carry out any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.

Are you the ideal candidate?

You will have:

  • GCSEs in Maths and English, Grade A-C (or equivalent)

  • Experience recruiting within a variety of IT / Tech related functions

  • Experience working within an inhouse recruitment function

  • Experience on social media, job boards, LinkedIn and Boolean searching techniques

  • Experience working in a fast-paced recruitment environment managing multiple stakeholders

  • Experience in taking ownership and full accountability for the end to end recruitment process

  • Some travel is anticipated between Billingham and Royston
