Document Production Specialist

Location: Multiple Offices

Description

THE POSITION

The Brattle Group is seeking a flexible and motivated individual for a full-time Document Production Specialist to support a team of professional consultants in the completion and delivery of high-quality, detailed proposals, reports, testimony, presentations, and other documents in either our Boston, MA or Washington, DC office. The core duties of this position include:

  • Producing visually appealing, error-free work products;
  • Working with principals and project teams to ensure proper editing and formatting of final
  • documents such as reports, presentations, proposals, and testimony for clients in Brattle format;
  • Inserting and formatting previously developed content into corporate templates;
  • Effectively using graphics in documents;
  • Providing assistance with resolving formatting and template issues;
  • Meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple demands.

This position reports to and takes day-to-day direction from the Business Support Services Manager (“BSSM”) and works closely with the administrative and consulting staff on specific projects and proposals. The BSS team requires a team member who is willing to provide support in a variety of areas to ensure any task and projects are completed to the satisfaction of our clients.

THE CANDIDATE

The position requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to handle numerous projects and deliverables. Other requirements include:

  • Self-motivation and an ability to work independently or as part of a team;
  • Bachelor’s Degree required;
  • Requires a minimum of four (4) years of experience using advanced technical skills (in Word, Excel and PowerPoint) to prepare professional documents such as reports, presentations, proposals, etc.;
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, and Power Point) is required;
  • Excellent proofreading, formatting, editing, and research skills;
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail;
  • Ability to adapt easily to change;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced office environment handling multiple tasks and demands concurrently;
  • Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude required;
  • Ability to exercise appropriate judgment and maintain confidentiality;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work overtime, including night and weekend work as necessary.
