Maintenance Worker - YRS
Summary: The position is responsible for maintaining the sanitary and safe living and working environment of the buildings within the division of Youth & Residential Services (YRS), performance of scheduled and unscheduled custodial and maintenance tasks, and responding to unforeseen building operation and general program issues at YRS residential facilities. The employee in this position at a residential facility may be required to remain on Agency premises during break and or meal periods. Individual accountabilities and work volume will be established through the development of annual Success Objectives, within the framework outlined below.

Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies.
Work Environment: Each YRS program site operates on a 24/7 basis, 365 days per year. Employees of YRS need to be willing to be flexible in regards to work location and scheduling, each of which may be altered by program management at any time. Employees must be willing to perform any maintenance duty that may be required due to the needs of the program.
