The Fuel Cells business is looking to enhance the team with the opening of a Senior Product Developmnt Scientist (Customer Facing) role. This is an exciting opportunity to provide a technical interface to our Fuel Cells customers; understanding component designs and their integration into high volume manufacturing, whilst ensuring effective product manufacturing and delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a key technical contact within the business for fuel cell products, providing support and expertise to other functions as required
  • Interfacing with customers to support product delivery and providing technical support throughout the product lifecycle
  • Advising the Fuel Cells business on customer requirements, feeding information to component development and manufacturing groups as required
  • Support development activities within a technology and volume manufacturing environment
  • Interpret and communicate requirements internally and externally in order to achieve project objectives
  • Plan and carry out work in accordance with business priorities including processing, interpreting and disseminating results

Are you the ideal candidate?

You will have:

  • A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline
  • Proven ability to design and undertake experimental work, process data and use analytical skills to interpret the results
  • Ability to interface with our global internal and external customer base
  • Experience working within an industry manufacturing environment
