Johnson Matthey IT (JM IT) is Johnson Matthey’s global IT function responsible for ensuring that our IT capabilities are not only able to support and integrate technologies but can also offer insight into future IT tools that could provide us with a competitive edge and improved operating efficiencies. 

Unify is a 4-year programme to implement SAP into Johnson Matthey globally with the aim to provide a foundation for business harmonisation and growth. The programme is structured with consecutive overlapping Delivery Waves that have fixed delivery milestones. Within each Wave there are multiple concurrent project teams covering specifically grouped sites or countries.

What we need

We are actively seeking a Learning Coordinator to be based in our Royston Office on a permanent basis.   

Key responsibilities 

  • Upskill on learning tools iLearn, TNA & TTS

  • Maximise use of reporting iLearn & TTS within the project

  • Administrate TTS

    • Upload new materials to TTS including CI and Retrofit

    • Update existing materials in TTS to enable performance support in TTS

    • Upload new elearning materials to TTS

    • Link new elearning materials to TTS for use as performance support

    • Run reports on content and usage

  • Administrate iLearn

    • Create Courses in iLearning

    • Upload content to iLearn

    • Link content to courses in iLearn

    • Create learning journeys in iLearn

    • Link courses to learning journeys

    • Link end users to learning journeys

    • Upload individual curriculums to iLearn

    • Monitor completion of courses

    • Run reports on content and usage

    • Report on user adoption

  • Archive old materials

  • Maintain core Curriculum template

  • Upload courses to TNA tool

  • Using the TNA tool & working with market resources produce individual End user curriculum

  • Produce weekly reports on completion/non completion of courses and communicate to resources in market & Unify project

  • Manage/oversee scheduling & delivery of training events for ILT, reverse training sessions and eLearning courses for those that need coordination (Manufacturing or similar processes that need)

  • Work with in-country person to

    • Maintain and coordinate training schedule

    • Ensure that training logistics are in place ahead of training and provide support to trainers as required during training

    • Ensure training invites are sent, track acceptance & attendance

    • Compile of daily training reports as required

    • Capture and consolidate training feedback

  • Manage/oversee translation of materials and upload to iLearn/TTS

  • Manage Unify central mailbox

  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of Unify education & training, training attendance for validation & audit purposes

  • Manage lessons learned sessions identifying improvements and efficiencies to incorporate in future deployments

Are you the ideal candidate?  

You will have:

  • Strong IT proficiency, including knowledge of LMS tools and MS-Office

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

  • Excellent planning, organisational and administrative skills

  • Standout teammate with great interpersonal skills

  • Ability to build relationships in virtual teams

  • Have a solution focussed attitude and able to meet strict deadlines whilst being detail conscious

  • Able to balance conflicting priorities whilst working with a changing workload with limited supervision

  • Experience working and being part of a busy and diverse office

  • Knowledge and experience in L&D training and supporting in an administrative role

  • Willingness to learn
