The Business Process Expert is a role that is seconded from the business locally, they are responsible for using their expertise to support Unify deployment into their business across all phases of the programme lifecycle for a specific process area.  From the detailed knowledge built up, the Process Expert will become an integral part of the Network of Excellence beyond the deployment period.

The role manages business requirements and knowledge to support Information gathering activities in Discovery and Template Adoption, feedback and guidance during Big Build Realization and Test, Cutover and Hypercare; this will include being involved in the approval cycle for changes to the template (STPs).

The Senior Process Expert will have activities in Training Super Users and other Business Users and working with stakeholders to understand the implications of the Unify solution for the JM business. 

The role is key in preparing the business for Unify; acting as an advocate for the process & technical solution for their functional area, providing guidance on data mapping and usage, and working with key stakeholders to build engagement, understanding & readiness for Unify.

Key responsibilities 

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Contribution to the overall project plan, specifically for activities that are owned by the business process experts and others within the business, providing regular status updates and escalation of risk to the timescale

BUSINESS CHANGE MANAGEMENT

Organisation Change Management

  • Participate in workshops to confirm business implications & business impacts of Unify processes & solution

    Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Under the direction of the Functional Project Manager engage with key stakeholders to help drive buy-in & public advocacy for the solution

PROCESS AND APPLICATION

  • Attend Discovery workshops and Template Adoption workshops to identify and confirm operational and legal / statutory / regulatory data and reporting requirements for their work area and site(s)

  • Understand the Unify global template and processes for their work area

DATA & INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

Support Business Data Manager

  • Data Cleansing, Data Mapping, Data verification, Issue resolution

CUTOVER / DEPLOYMENT

Provide support for cutover and go live activities

  • Contribute to cutover ramp down and ramp up planning activities, Validating data loads, Entering some initial transactions during ramp up

Are you the ideal candidate?

You will have:

  • Ability to support the business through a planned process of change and building support for new processes

  • Experience facilitating sessions with key stakeholders and end-users

  • In depth knowledge of business process design concepts and principles within a Global organization

  • Experience of JM business processes within the appropriate functional area e.g. Finance, Sales & Commercial, Procurement or manufacturing
