The Regional Sales Manager, North (RSM) motivates and inspires their team to achieve goals. This position is a pivotal lead in driving sales in Salons, Spas, and Massage Envy.  Responsible for overall sales performance within a specific region to include management and leadership of sales team.   RSM works closely with the Business Development Executives analyzing business trends, identifying missed opportunities, and developing plans to maximize performance. The Regional Sales Manager formulates short and long-term strategies and objectives, creating strong plans and milestones for execution.

 

Primary Job Functions:

  • Talent Management
    • Hire, train, develop and manage Business Development Executives (BDE)
    • Effectively communicate brand strategy to BDEs
    • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of sales events and quality of team members; devise strategies for improving team members and developing business
    • Work closely with BDEs, providing clear goals and monitoring performance.
    • Hold weekly calls with each BDE, discussing progress and sales strategy
    • Manage and approve team T&E
  • Sales Plan: Results & Execution
    • Provide monthly forecasts, updates, revisions, and modifications to the sales plan.
    • Analyze business, identify opportunities and execute plan to realize and exceed sales in all doors
    • Create seasonal activity plans and call cycles, by door, in conjunction with the BDE to make shifts when necessary to optimize sales
    • Create and execute a plan of action; follows through to achieve exceptional sales results
    • Utilize resources to develop and implement effective prospecting results
  • Collaboration
    • Demonstrate strong collaboration with Education, Marketing & Operation teams (HR, Finance, IT, etc)
    • Identifying business gaps and cascading feedback to appropriate parties
    • Build positive and strong relationships with external partners to influence key decisions

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Business Development Executives

 

Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience in the professional spa and salon channel with at least 2 years in a managerial role with proven results

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
