Description

PEMCO is looking for a Finance Analyst Intern who’s ready to contribute to our key business intelligence and financial reporting projects and strategies. If your studies have revealed your passion for finance analytics, big data, and financial reporting systems, this internship was made for you.

As a Financial Planning, Systems & Reporting team member, you’ll have an immediate impact on the ability of financial decisions to be made and will contribute to management having a better understanding of our company data.

This is a full-time paid position starting in May/June, expected to last about 12 weeks (flexible around school schedule), and is based out of our headquarters in the South Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle.

 

The key projects you’ll be a part of:

  • Involved as a team member for migration of on-premise software to the cloud
  • Gain exposure to corporate budgeting systems and financial reporting.
  • Provide support and process improvements for department reports, analysis, and forecasting.
  • And the opportunity to build out internship projects around your own skill set and interests.

 

About you

  • Attending a university/college in the Pacific Northwest (Juniors and Seniors preferred).
  • Pursuing a major/career related to Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Computer Science, or Business.
  • Prior related work, school, or internship experience in a customer-service setting.
  • Resourceful and proactive collaborator with previous experience in project management, reporting tools, data analytics.
  • Ready to get your career started by learning the day-in, day-out reality of an entry role in financial planning, systems, and reporting.
