Why We Need You

PEMCO is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic and agile team member to join the People & Brand team as a temporary Office Coordinator in our Seattle office. Your agility, energy and expertise will support our ability to deliver an inspiring work place and remarkable customer experiences.  You possess the expertise and ability to perform day-to-day coordination of office needs, supporting our Seattle team while championing change through continuous improvement by anticipating the needs of our customers.

You bring prior experience in building a welcoming atmosphere that inspires positive energy through a One-Team approach. You have a keen understanding of common sense and take initiative when you find something out of place. 

You are dependable and understand the importance of confidential information. You are effective at redirecting questions to the appropriate leader to ensure needs are heard. You will partner closely with leaders within the Company to coordinate and support a smooth experience. 

The role reports to the Manager of Enterprise Services and Optimization, and combines ownership, execution and continuous improvement of the systems and processes within our influence that ensure our Company success. You will have tangible impact on an organization of over 500 team members (and growing), by getting things done with agility and excitement.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers and others who come to our office locations, anticipate their needs, and connect them with available resources.
  • Ensure our customer and common areas shine in partnership with Facilities department; track, report and respond to facility maintenance and other issues, provide any needed coordination and follow up with Facilities through completion of requests.
  • Provide clerical support including office mail, indexing records, and records retention projects
  • Serve as a liaison to outside vendors on behalf of Facilities; maintain positive relationships with common vendors for our copy services, food services, couriers, etc.
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot issues with office equipment; coordinate servicing with vendors.
  • Support office events including logistics for food menus and delivery, event scheduling and room reservations, room set up to specifications, and light clean-up/tear down following events.
  • Support the wide range of work within the People and Brand group as needed, which may include fleet coordination, parking administration, clerical work for other departments, etc.

What You'll Bring

  • Two or more (2+) years experience in a customer service or administrative role with increasing levels of experience required
  • Proven proficiency using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) required
  • Project management skills and experience preferred
