Why We Need You

PEMCO is looking for a data-obsessed, dynamic, hands-on Digital Marketing & Automation Manager to deliver on-brand, on-strategy execution of creative concepts consistent with the PEMCO standard, aesthetic and voice. Simply put, you have a passion for the study of consumer behavior and using that knowledge to help us accelerate leads to quotes to purchase.

From a technical perspective, you are responsible for monitoring and managing our digital presence including websites, social platforms, blogs, search, communities, paid search, online advertising, SMS and push notifications.

Your leadership, energy and expertise will orchestrate the effective collaboration of external agencies and internal cross-functional team members with results that ensure from ideation to enterprise adaptation that concepts are engaging, strategy aligned and brand consistent across all digital touchpoints.

You are a hands-on, flexible contributor who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced relationship culture. You are skilled in operating at both a strategic and tactical level, with experience to translate vision to execution. You are passionate about creative, guiding and mentoring others toward the same.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage lead generation, analyze data to determine trends and best practices to positively impact results
  • Manage, and optimize paid search campaigns including creating, key word researching, testing, and optimizing ad copy for campaigns
  • Provide leadership and guidance to external digital agencies to ensure best practices, budget and targets are being met
  • Analyze digital performance by channel and across channels. Ensure ongoing optimization and drive YOY growth and healthy ROI
  • Ensure data-driven decisions that will make positive and significant impacts to the overall lead generation process and user experience
  • Review the success of digital content and campaigns, recommend changes to improve conversions and lead acquisition based on analytics
  • Lead and/or collaborate closely with social, PR, agencies, creative, sales, product, IT and marketing teams to ensure comprehensive program development
  • Measure and report performance of all digital campaigns, sites, social platforms, blogs, search, communities, paid search, online advertising, SMS and push notifications. and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Ensure audits to identify gaps and redundancies and optimize for search
  • Audit email marketing campaigns, SMS, and push notifications in various platforms in order to enhance customer communication and increase sales
  • Monitor and implement strategies to optimize traffic flow from search engines. Audit existing content and make recommendations for organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) success
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with outside technology vendors and internal IT department stakeholders
  • Adhere to departmental budget and goals and propose budget recommendations 
  • Act as a digital evangelist for the marketing team, helping educate company on digital programs performance and best practices

  • 6 plus years of experience managing marketing efforts driving traffic to websites to acquire leads and quotes 
  • 6 plus years of experience in a marketing automation role or similar with increasing levels of responsibility required
  • Experience managing digital marketing efforts, including eCommerce marketing strategy, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and digital advertising campaigns
  • Skilled in platforms and channels and able to alert the leadership to new and emerging technologies and methods
  • Knowledge of key competitors and their strategies
  • Ability to create and drive a digital and email marketing strategy calendar integrated across channels
  • Ability to write ad copy, subject lines, and short form articles
  • Expert understanding of search engine concepts, web traffic, and SEO ranking
  • Expertise in Adobe Analytics Cloud, Tealeaf, and ClickTale and Google Analytics and Google/Bing search advertising and other optimizing lead generation tools and platforms necessary 
  • Experience working with Oracle Eloqua, Salesforce and Tableau software preferred, with targeting and segmentation, email sales and marketing alignment a plus
  • Experience scaling demand generation programs that deliver leads and quotes
  • Solid understanding of programmatic, paid social and affiliate media trends
  • Experience with data retrieval, conversion, analysis and insight generation
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint Excel and Access)
