The Administrative Team Manager will manage the large administrative team in the Boston office and advance initiatives to improve systems and procedures on behalf of the Administrative team and the Boston management team. The Administrative Team Manager will partner closely with the Boston Office Head and the Human Resources team in their work.

The Administrative Team Manager will be responsible for staffing assignments for team members, coaching and mentoring team members, leading regular team meetings with robust agendas, playing a lead role in recruiting and onboarding new team members in partnership with HR, and playing a lead role in our review processes and professional development procedures. The team manager will also partner with HR and EA team leads in other US offices to increase cross-office collaboration and contribute to firm-wide initiatives related to our administrative teams. The Administrative team manager will monitor adherence with team norms and policies, including use of paid time off. This individual will also work in support of initiatives to improve morale, engagement, and retention on the Boston administrative team.

The Administrative team manager will also provide administrative assistance (as an Executive Assistant) to a member of our Boston management team in support of his/her work with clients and internal teams. Responsibilities include written and verbal correspondence, scheduling and calendar management, arranging travel and processing expense reimbursements, coordinating logistics and materials for meetings, and other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience is required
  • 7-10 years of experience providing direct administrative support to organizations and senior level executives (preferably in professional services firms)
  • 3-7 years supervisory/team management experience required
  • Demonstrated judgement and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and deal with highly confidential information
  • Comprehensive knowledge of computer software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and ability to learn new technology quickly, is required
