This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial information and provide directive analysis to stakeholders.
Prepare Monthly Financial Reports and analysis for key management
Track critical metrics for Executive Management
Perform both routine and ad hoc analysis to support key internal partners
Prepare Monthly Journal Entries & Reconciliations with proper support
Prepare Schedules and Answer Inquiries from External Auditors and Tax Preparers
Special Projects as assigned
Maintain and Analyze Hauling costs and Metrics
Assist with Monthly Forecast
Provide monthly variance analysis vs budget and forecast
Four year accounting degree from an accredited university in Accounting or Finance
Advanced in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s, Graphs)
Works independently, self-motivated, and ambition to learn beyond assigned tasks
Works well under firm deadlines
Organize information and communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external customers
Ability to problem solve
One or more years of Public Accounting experience
Microsoft Word & Access proficiency
Background in Percentage-of-Completion Accounting
Office: Move 25lbs (not for all jobs, reasonable accommodations will be made), work with a computer for extended periods of time
Office: Quiet with some ambient noise, climate controlled, fluorescent lighting
