The Production Accountant will be responsible for monitoring, tracking, reporting, and analyzing costs related to production and capital projects
Assist in the establishment, evaluation, & maintenance of standard costs
Allocate monthly production & other costs through journal entries
Analyze and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management
Review/prepare monthly account reconciliations
Track capital projects costs and perform related reporting for project owners
Investigate, analyze and report on manufacturing cost and variances including PPV, margins, absorption, product mix and material/routing variances
Assist & collaborate with management during the preparation of annual budget and make recommendations
Assist with external audit requests
Perform other related analysis as directed by management
Identify and implement process improvements
Other duties and projects as assigned
Associate’s degree in Accounting with 4+ years of related experience
Exemplary communication skills; both verbal and written
Dedication to excellent internal and external customer service
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 2+ years of related experience
Office: Move 25lbs (not for all jobs, reasonable accommodations will be made), work with a computer for extended periods of time
Office: Quiet with some ambient noise, climate controlled, fluorescent lighting
