Review and process contracts for all Fabcon construction projects. Request and process bonds, permits, licenses, and insurance as required for each project. Provide support for Contract Department and Accounting as assigned.
Review contract terms and requirements with the Project Managers, propose revisions to minimize risk, process, execute and distribute the contracts
Make decisions concerning contract requirements
Submit appropriate documents for insurance, permit applications, licenses, bonds and other contract requirements
Coordinate with internal resources to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Meet contractual deadlines
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook, IFS database)
Strong organizational skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Understand contractual terms and conditions of standard contract documents
Possess a working knowledge of insurance requirements
License to practice law from the State Bar Association
Basic knowledge of construction industry
Experience with Performance & Payment Bonds, State and Local Licenses and Permits or other compliance activities
Familiar with accounting processes and procedure
Ability to work more than 40 hours a week
Office: Move 25lbs (not for all jobs, reasonable accommodations will be made), work with a computer for extended periods of time
