Purpose/Scope:

Provide administrative support for the Contracts Department in order to secure production and delivery milestones while prioritizing positive customer experiences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research license requirements for all Fabcon construction projects and process/submit applications and renewals as directed
  • Submit appropriate documents and application forms for bonds, consents of surety, insurance requirements and other contract requirements
  • Process and review contracts as assigned and work with Project Managers and Contract Management to develop contract review responses (“riders”) to customers in an expeditious manner; process executed contracts
  • Review/sort department mail and ensure anything outgoing gets processed/sent
  • Coordinate with internal resources to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Provide additional support to the Contracts Department as needed in order to meet production milestones and maintain positive customer feedback

Basic Qualifications:

  • Paralegal certificate or
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, business or law related field or equivalent experience

Other Required Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Analytical and detail oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, keeping expedient responsiveness a priority
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook, Adobe Acrobat)
  • Understand contractual terms and conditions of standard contract documents

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of contracts and construction industry
  • Experience with Performance & Payment Bonds, State and Local Licenses and Permits or other compliance activities

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work more than 40 hours a week

  • Office: Move 25lbs (not for all jobs, reasonable accommodations will be made), work with a computer for extended periods of time

  • Remote: Flexibility to work from home but some administrative tasks require in-office presence

Work Environment:

  • Office: Quiet with some ambient noise, climate controlled, fluorescent lighting
