About the position: 
The Grants Coordinator will support projects across the Learning Unit. The team spurs improvement and innovation in K-12 education, adult learning systems, community colleges, universities and other postsecondary systems. The Grants Coordinator will serve as a critical point of coordination and operational support for the team. S/he will interface with staff at all levels of the organization, funders, and external partners. This position presents an exciting opportunity for a driven, highly organized individual to engage with colleagues across departments and at all levels of the organization to support funding pursuit and development operations in a leading national non-profit organization. 

  

What you'll do:  

  • Lead process for developing and submitting grant reports 
  • Draft content for reports as necessary  
  • Ensure compliance with grant portfolio obligations by tracking reporting requirements, deadlines, and communications with funders  
  • Update Salesforce with account and contact information, ensuring data is captured and verifying accuracy of information 
  • Support development and maintenance of comprehensive system project and grant management using project management software 
     

Who you are:

  • You have two or more years of relevant professional experience  
  • Strong project management skills and organizational skills; able to work quickly and independently, prioritize, and meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment  
  • Outstanding attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, initiative, and desire to get the job done right   
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to maintain open and effective communication with both staff at all levels across the organization and external partners and funders 
  • Able to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing    
  • Excellent time and organizational management skills, with the ability to work well independently   
  • Strong customer-service orientation 
  • Experience in nonprofits, grant processes, or development a plus
