LRTS represents a new chapter in live video delivery for ‘Over the Top’ providers. Such technology organizations offer platforms with live streaming, rich statistics feeds, betting overlays and, in the near future, augmented and virtual reality capabilities. We are currently seeking a Business Development Executive (BDE) to expand our presence in the Edge Compute, Cloud & Network services. Will sell into large corporate customers across Europe and grow revenue. Mandatory experience working with enterprise, gaming, media & entertainment, SAAS, IoT and online retail companies.
The BDE is responsible for driving and growing new business revenue.
Seek out new selling opportunities, qualify potential business, and meet sales targets.
Understand and adapt Limelight’s ongoing product and technology development efforts through collaboration with product management.
Focus on new logo acquisition and growing revenue within Edge, Cloud & Network services of a given vertical and customer target list.
Manage multiple cross-product opportunities and projects.
Generate accurate forecast and sales activity reports.
Own and manage sales pipeline and be comfortable reporting metrics to management.
Research segment dynamics through trade events, publications and social networking.
Identify market trends and business opportunities within the targeted segment.
Qualifications: Experience and Education (minimums)
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering preferred.
7+ years’ experience of successful quota driven sales/sales management focused on cloud, cloud compute, managed hosting, network services, content delivery, cloud storage, web analytics and SaaS solutions.
Experience & strong relationships with Enterprise customers
Experience building client relationships, leading sales efforts, through consultative selling.
