About the Role

This opening is for a Field Service Labor Business Manager position in the Customer Service Group based in Fremont, California. This role will be responsible for growing the Field Service Labor business for Mattson Technology and driving operational improvement in the Field Service organization. The manager will work with the global field organization to measure and improve operational performance including installation cycle time, warrant costs, and utilization. Candidates performance will be subject to peer review.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine customer requirements for service support
  • Develop the value proposition for Mattson service offerings
  • Assess and recommend the required resources to fulfill the service labor business
  • Develop pricing models for Mattson services
  • Work closely with the global field organization to position Mattson services
  • Responsible for meeting Mattson gross margin and market share targets
  • Provides summary reports to Mattson management
  • Analyze competitive information for third party services
  • Drives improvement in installation and warranty spending
  • Drive manpower planning and field service utilization improvement
  • Develops service labor policy and ensures adherence to policy
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • BS in Operations, Business Management, or Engineering
  • 10+ years in the semiconductor industry or contract manufacturing
  • Significant Service, Operations, Sales, Marketing and/or Business Management experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
