Summary

The function of the Warehouse Manager is to ensure that all Warehouse Operations including, but not limited to; Distribution, Production, Inventory Management, Kitting, Shipping and Receiving of all Materials are managed in the most effective and cost-efficient manner. In addition, the Warehouse Manager is expected to identify, implement and manage process improvements that increase efficiencies and reduce cost.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implements, manages and controls cycle counting program.
  • Monitors, secures and controls all materials within the warehouse, receiving and shipping areas.
  • Ensures the timely transaction of all materials movements.
  • Coordinates shipments and documentation.
  • Resolves discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiving reports.
  • Ensures materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
  • Manages and controls the Production Kitting activities.
  • Maintains records for inventory accuracy trends, inventory reconciliations, inventory audit, and reporting.
  • Works closely with the Production, Supply Chain and Quality teams to ensure materials availability.

Required Education, Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse management in lieu of the degree.
  • At least 3 years of warehouse supervisory/managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of MRP systems, SAP preferred.
