Description of Duties

MCR is looking for self-starting Executive Level Administrator who can support Directorate Front Office efforts in support of state-of-the-art space program developments. As part of a team you will lead daily office operations for space systems software and hardware capabilities and services.

  • Provide Executive Support Services including preparing reports, papers, briefings, correspondence, and SMC communications policies and templates
  • Maintain appointment calendars and conference room schedules; schedule meetings and conferences including those involving staff from outside the immediate office
  • Answer telephones, forward messages, and provide responses to routine queries
  • Effectively plan executive travel from initial booking to reimbursement voucher completion in the Defense Travel System (DTS)
  • Assist in coordinating, consolidating, analyzing, distributing and monitoring action items, suspences and responses
  • Provide inputs and recommendations regarding administrative and office management processes and procedures
  • Prepare agendas, reports, and briefings for staff meetings
  • Conduct research, prepare statistical reports, handle information requests
  • Maintain records and manage information in accordance with DoD guidelines
  • Conduct mail distribution and provide office support services,
  • Manage executive schedules by coordinating staff activities and arranging meetings, events, and conventions

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 7+ years of directly applicable experience in government executive support, human resources, and personnel management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate the results of evaluations and analysis
  • 3 years’ experience in the Defense Travel System (DTS) and Government personnel and human resource management systems
  • MS-Windows and MS-Office applications expertise
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Able to attain an active Secret clearance

Preferred qualifications

  • Knowledge of Livelink, SharePoint and DoD records management procedures
