As a Cyber Security Engineer on our team, you will provide Cyber Security support to the Eagle Vision (EV) Program Office, which is within the Battle Management Directorate (IPEC). EV is the only worldwide deployable ground station in the Department of Defense (DOD) for the direct receipt/dissemination of imagery data from commercial remote-sensing satellites. The collected imagery supports War fighters and First Responders in domestic operations, overseas contingency operations (OCO), and Humanitarian Assistance & disaster relief (DR) efforts
We are searching for someone like you, the self-starter, who has experience and expertise in the following areas:
  • Align with RMF and other Cyber Security mentorship and directives as applicable.
  • Ensure engineering activities (analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring) best meets (as resources allow) established requirements (e.g., RMF & DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide).
  • Develop, review, and refine Continuity of Operations (COOP) package documentation and related artifacts.
  • Assist the EV Program in developing authorization package artifacts that satisfy Authorization Official requirements
  • Review and provide inputs to the creation and maintenance of Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) package for Certification and Accreditation (C&A).
  • Support efforts of the EV PMO by supplying Cyber Security requirements language for the organic sustainment support organization.​
We are looking for someone with the following set of skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years work experience, with experience on DoD or Air Force acquisition programs desirable.
  • you possess a current Security + certification.
  • You should have an understanding of the RMF process.
  • Detail oriented and possess the ability to work in a multi-disciplined environment with an adaptive personality.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal skills - both oral and written - and possess analytical skills to identify and fault isolate problems/issues, accurately assess relevance of information, generate and evaluate alternatives, and provide solution recommendations
  • You have proven knowledge of cloud based architecture is required.
  • Have an active US security clearance.
