As a Test Engineer III, the ideal candidate will provide EPASS Advisory and Assistance Services to the Battle Management Directorate (AFLCMC/HB) at the AF Lifecycle Management Center (previously the Electronic Systems Center). Your duties may include but are not limited to the following :
Provide dedicated system engineering and integration, test support, test equipment engineering and drawing reviews; provide technical advice on computer hardware and software
Evaluate the technical needs, monitor hardware and software integrity, and determine subsequent requirements associated with planned and conceptual changes to systems
Analyze technical issues and provide recommendations to the SAPM and/or PM for resolution on Spectrum Management and Integrated Defense Operations
Forward Deployed Forces in coordination with AFCENT and CENTCOM, IAMD status, and incremental capability over time, system limitations and design trades, dependencies, risks, future capabilities, opportunities, and related prioritization
Design and develop in-house software tools to support testing and validating system development; perform in-depth acceptance testing of software end items
Active Secret clearance
BA/BS degree and 10 years of experience, 3 years of DoD support preferred; years of experience may compensate for lack of degree
Ability to function independently at all levels of customer and management interface with little/no direct day-to-day oversight required
