SUMMARY: This individual provides support for SAC’s in the establishment of best in class project management operations that lead to successful execution of customer programs and projects throughout the US. The position is focused on supporting the development of long term, recurring work with customers, executing it profitably, and developing the people, project management processes, project management career evolution, ensuring an outstanding result for SAC and the customer.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational readiness and market unwind
Develop and maintain business acumen by adapting latest project management technology, processes and talent management techniques using available industry standards
Determine and define Project Management tool requirements and system roadmap, covering current business and future demands including operational and financial aspects
Foster internal and external alliances to successfully carry on SAC business strategies
Support strategic planning including market entry strategy for new markets
Drive key planning issues and recommendations on important business decisions, risks and threats
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of messaging and alignment on objectives.
Foster relationships and interfaces between SAC team, SAC suppliers and customer to ensure high-performance delivery and timely resolution of issues.
Manage customer relationship at a strategic and tactical level including managing expectations on delivery capabilities and timing of projects.
Lead customer-specific and internal governance meetings managing project portfolio and resolution of issues.
PPM database ownership

Establish operational processes / process improvement plans to align with customer’s process and tools.

Establish Project Management Career evolution
Create Tactical Performance Indicators (dashboards) to bring operational and financial visibility to all projects
Conduct/ Guide Project Review meetings
Establish and monitor performance reporting systems
Gatekeeper of project management tool requirements, including new or modifications to project templates and project creation
Support the development of organizational structure, people and teams.
Support the development of project management training
Support for development and implement the project management career model in SAC
Ensure division and projects are run profitably, efficiently
Ensure division and projects are executed with strict project controls.
10+ years Telecommunications Experience
Deep Technical Understanding/Ability
Strong Interpersonal and Verbal Communication Skills
High Level of Organization and Scheduling Abilities
Microsoft Excel Proficiency.
Desire to Succeed and Learn New Skills.
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred.
