Location: This position will be based in San Jose, CA.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Take engineering assembly models in SolidWorks and assign part numbers in Agile PLM and rename files accordingly in Enterprise PDM

  • Create fabrication drawings for SolidWorks models that meet company and industry drawing standards

  • Create manufacturer part numbers for OEM parts

  • Create bill of materials in Agile

  • Create change notices in Agile to revise or release new items and bill of materials

  • Support engineering with assigned design tasks

  • Support Hydrogen and SOEC projects


Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Experience with PLM software (Agile experience is preferred)

  • Experience with CAD file management a plus (Enterprise PDM preferred)

  • Sound understanding of product data management and PLM systems required

  • Ability to interpret and apply GD&T to engineering drawings

  • Experience with bill of material and product structuring

  • Experience with version and revision control systems

  • Expert level experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks

  • Exceptional working knowledge of change management industry standards and best practices

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and make decisions based on available information

  • Ability to lead projects, create action plans, monitor and report on progress and follow through on their implementation
