They are currently seeking a LEAN Business Systems Analyst I in Portsmouth, VA.


JOB DESCRIPTION

Facilitates the process to collect and define client requirements.  Provides advice and recommendations on process best practices.  Performs analysis on business or systems processes to identify improvements.  Works with clients to understand and define needs and develop and recommend solutions.  Interacts and communicates with end-users, management, vendors, and IT personnel.  Produces functional design specifications based on user requirements.  Maintains deep knowledge of Government/Commercial Off The Shelf (GOTS/COTS) applications (e.g., AIM, NMCI, Visio, SAP, Oracle, SharePoint, Momentum). Performs configuration and designs functional solutions (e.g., reports, interfaces, workflows, and extensions) for specific tools, techniques, methodologies, applications or third-party systems.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Entry-level professional with up to three years’ experience supporting a project or work team
• Work is closely supervised
• Requires broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education
• Typically has a Bachelor’s degree or Associates/Vocational/Technical education or equivalent work experience
• Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area
• Problems faced are not typically difficult or complex


REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE

Department of Defense secret clearance.
