Description

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant, SR to support the PEO EIS Headquarters at Ft. Belvoir, VA. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage and schedule meetings 
• Submit Visitor Access Requests through ServiceNow for customers coming for visits with the senior command
• Consolidates Weekly Staff Call Slides 
• Prepares new hire packets as needed for incoming contracted employees
• Contractor in-processing briefings, 
• Serves as the PEO EIS Communications Representative
• Management of Common Access Card (CAC) scheduling and tracking
• Draft and/or provide critical/final review of correspondence
• Build briefing packages and present information
• Prepare routine status reports and track office-related metrics
• Attend meetings, events, and forums                                                                  
• Answer routine telephone calls, direct calls; greet and escort visitors
• Prepare travel/training arrangements and process travel/training accounting/vouchers for the program office
• Perform research and retrieve information from databases and other resources
• Maintain tracking records and filing systems, archive files
• Maintain update and serves as focal point for databases or spreadsheets
• Prepare access rosters and request security clearance transfers
• Assist in ordering supplies/equipment and arranging for office equipment repairs
 


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 6+ years of relevant experience in a DoD Environment
• Demonstrated experience working independently, anticipating and adapting to changing mission requirements and priorities, and managing multiple tasks with minimal guidance
• Demonstrated experience with protocol and precedence; Agency/DoD structure, regulations, directives, and policies
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and concisely using a variety of styles and techniques appropriate to the audience
• Demonstrated experience to participate productively as a contributing member in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality
• Demonstrated experience of proper English usage, spelling, grammar, punctuation and sentence structure to ensure that written materials prepared and reviewed are complete, succinct, and formatted correctly
• Strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to work fast paced changes in requirements and schedule
• Experience with the Defense Travel System (DTS) and Joint Travel Regulations (JTR)
• Draft documents such as instructions, spreadsheets, presentations and reports
• Administer databases and spreadsheets to include managing user accounts and accesses, creating reports, and performing updates
• Coordinate scheduling, organizing, and execution of meetings, events, conferences, and off-sites
 


REQUIRED EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s Degree
 


REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE

• Active Secret clearance
