Responsibilities:

  • Assist New Loan Setup department to verify the quality control review is performed accurately and completely.

  • Identify and expeditiously resolve any issues of incomplete, missing or invalid data resulting from the new loan boarding process.

  • Identify and recommend methods to increase efficiency of the new loan boarding process.

  • Communicate with clients and track compliance related fields to ensure accurate and client specific data is utilized.

  • Work with analysts to correct any inconsistencies with data being interfaced.

  • Participate in reviewing adequacy of boarding edits.

  • Run queries twice a month using parameters outlined in departmental procedures.

  • Run specific queries for late charge compliance; take action to correct out of compliance situations.

  • Develop queries to determine if field values are logical and correct; ensure findings are reviewed and any issues are addressed prior to issuance of final reports.

  • Filter all non-applicable data from query findings; review and research filtered data to determine if they represent chargeable errors attributable to vendor or processor oversight; prepare management and statistical reports on chargeable errors to determine ratios and tolerances.

  • Periodically verify with business units that parameters set in queries are still applicable and correct.

  • Maintain all reports and query findings in a shared directory for retrieval.

  • Perform special loan servicing projects when not engaged in the data integrity activities.

  • Other duties as assigned.

     

Qualifications:

  • Above average knowledge of LPS reports and workstations

  • Above average knowledge of the principles of accounting and auditing procedures

  • Skills related to Word, Excel, Outlook and Cenbase (an internal system).

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage several projects simultaneously.

  • Overtime is a condition of employment.
