  • Design, develop, and facilitate default training programs and present new initiatives.

  • Select appropriate medium for successful delivery of training programs, i.e. PowerPoint presentation, user guide, computer training.

  • Develop, create, and implement user guides for computer based training efforts and keep guides current to industry changes and in compliance with regulations.

  • Conduct needs assessments with department managers to identify training requirements and maintain contact to keep abreast of changes/initiatives that affect current training programs.

  • Trainee development through coaching, counseling, and administering training material, while observing to evaluate and document performance and assessment scores.

  • Provide support during and after training period.

  • Identify and implement revisions and updates to training materials.

  • Create and/or update training modules and associated assessments for servicing areas, including Collections, Loss Mitigation, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, REO, and Claims.

  • Evaluate existing departmental procedures, update and document procedures, create procedures if none exist, and coordinate the development of procedure manuals.

  • Create and present solutions to resolve identified productivity and performance issues.

  • Work with all default servicing areas on shared projects.

  • Other duties as assigned.



  • College degree preferred

  • 5+ years’ mortgage banking industry experience preferred

  • 3+ years’ default servicing experience

  • 2+ years’ experience developing and delivering training and employee coaching

  • Strong leadership, initiative, and teamwork ability

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Excellent and enthusiastic presentation skills

  • Creative, flexible, and dependable

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Fidelity Director experience strongly preferred
