Position Summary:

The Default Performance Manager will coordinate with the default business areas to respond and ensure compliance with any applicable SLA, KPI or KRI. The Manager will be responsible to review all default items identified by the compliance committee to ascertain default impact and organize the response and necessary changes to business practices in conjunction with the default managers.



  • The Default Performance Manager organizes the default departmental responses and oversight to SLAs, KRI, KPI and compliance agenda items.
  • Review and monitor all default proposed service level agreements, key risk indicators, and key performance indicators for feasibility.
  • Manage and coordinate regularly scheduled meetings with the managers to ensure the KPIs and KRIs are on target to be met.  
  • Review the legal documents detailing the SLAs
  • Track and identify trends or fails
  • Prepare response to fails
  • Coordinate with business owners to formulate action plans
  • Serve as the point of contact from Early and Late Stage Default departments to Compliance to ensure timely reviews of regulatory changes and potential impacts to the businesses
  • Review items identified by the compliance committee for default impact
  • Respond regarding impact and development of processes to be compliant with any necessary changes
  • Work independently and cohesively with others
  • Adapt to change
  • Additional job duties as required by management oversight



  • Bachelor degree or  equivalent work experience preferred
  • Minimum of 10+ years default servicing experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of government sponsored entities rules and regulations
  • Knowledge of Black Knight systems LoanSphere FC (F/K/A LPS Desktop PM) and Director (F/K/A MSP)
