Position Summary:

The Year End Specialist is responsible for the completion and maintenance of all controls related to the Year End function. They will also ensure the timely completion of all items related to year end functions.   The Year End Specialist will work directly with the Year End Coordinator and Third Party Operational Reporting (TPOR) Management to ensure all implement and monitor controls surrounding issues derived from Matters Requiring Attention (MRAs), external and internal audit findings and self-identified items.  They will also document and report on all functions to Year End Coordinator and TPOR Management, Senior Management and other applicable related departments. They will work directly with the Servicing Reporting Department to ensure the accuracy and timely completion of reports related to all Year End functions.



  • Responsible for assisting management incompletion of all items associated with the Year End Project plan
  • Ensures completion of all controls related to Year End functions
  • Works directly with Black Knight Financial Services (BKFS) and Year End Coordinator to implement any enhancements related to the year end function
  • Works directly with other areas to ensure all reports related to year-end are reviewed and the system of record is updated
  • Initiates meetings with applicable areas to ensure they are informed and prepared on year end items
  • Reviews and completes audits received from regulatory agencies, internal departments and received externally
  • Works with the Servicing Reporting department to build reporting surrounding action and newly implemented controls
  • Works with the Third Party Operational Reporting (TPOR) Quality Coordinators to update procedures as needed
  • Researches and reviews all requests for corrections to year end statements
  • Works directly with clients to resolve issues prior to year end submission
  • Other duties as assigned by  Year End Coordinator and TPOR Management




  • College degree or mortgage banking experience preferred
  • 1-2 years mortgage servicing experience required
  • Prior experience with Mortgage Servicing Package (MSP) a plus 
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Problem Resolution and Organizational Skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
