  • Report activity and remit funds due to investors and client banks on various mortgage portfolios, as well as reconciling associated custodial account, cash and remittance activity; perform job functions by relying upon training, instructions and pre-established procedures.

  • Plan/accomplish goals and perform a variety of tasks by relying upon judgement and limited experience.

  • Manage assigned portfolios through the set-up and maintenance of headers, transfer and processing of transactions on associated loans/pools, working with internal staff and investor/agency contacts to reconcile accounts and activity, and analyzing/resolving exceptions.

  • Ensure all steps required to maintain portfolios are completed accurately and according to investor timelines and requirements, on a monthly basis.

  • Resolve reporting exceptions and edits according to investor requirements and company procedures.

  • Perform daily and monthly reporting for assigned investors and portfolios utilizing the mortgage servicing system, investor/GSE web-based applications and other financial tools including Excel.

  • Prepare wires and general ledger entries to remit funds to investors or fund and manage required custodial account activity

  • Answer all investor inquiries and information requests on assigned portfolios.

  • Complete required monthly reconciliation reports produced via servicing system to investor records.

  • Reconcile investor turnaround reports; ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.

  • Prepare custodial account reconciliations per agency guidelines; ensure resolution of reconciling items.

  • Ensure timely receipt of monthly reporting packages and remittances.

  • Prepare report packages for audits and desk reviews.

  • Review due diligence reports for portfolio conversions.

  • Utilize systems, such as Monarch, Passport, Excel, Cenbase (company system) and other available programming tools, to fulfill ad-hoc reporting needs and process transactions more efficiently.

  • Act as a contact for onsite audits.

  • Assist in documentation of departmental procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned.



  • 2 – 4 year undergraduate degree; or direct experience with investor reporting (GSE/private pool) in a mortgage servicing environment

  • Minimum 2 – 4 years investor accounting or related mortgage servicing/financial services experience

  • Ability to accurately fulfill tight investor reporting, remittance and reconciliation deadlines, to ensure favorable GSE performance rankings for clients

  • Mortgage servicing system (MSP/Black Knight) experience preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Ability to work effectively with numbers

  • Excellent problem solving skills; analytical

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment

  • A moderate amount of creativity and independence
