Position Summary:

The Benefits Administrator administers the company’s benefit programs, including group life, health insurance, disability, leave of absence, retirement, and related programs.

Essential Functions:


  • Administers the leave programs to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations as well as company policies related to FMLA, ADA, Short Term Disability and Statutory Paid Leave

  • Manages administrative aspect of leave including tracking

  • Works closely with payroll to ensure that pay is accurate and correct

  • Maintains appropriate contact with all employees on leave and coordinates all aspects of return to work for employees on leave including accommodations

  • Acts as main point of contact with Vendor

  • Assists benefits department with benefits education, training, answering employee questions


Other Duties:


  • Other duties, responsibilities and projects may be assigned. This position will play a crucial role in assisting our company through a major transition period as a result of growth




  • Knowledge of federal, state and local leave laws, specifically New Jersey, Arizona, Missouri

  • Experience with HRIS Systems

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Must display STRONG attention to detail and customer service skills

  • Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-tasking in a rapidly changing environment with changing priorities

  • Ability to drive process improvement and multi-task
