Job Summary:

Responsible for coordinating the activities of the help desk function with other system areas, particularly UNIX, Windows, and network systems administration.


  • Address tickets, provide incident response and triage to include after-hours support when tasked
  • Develop and maintain KB and department procedure documentation
  • Liaison with other teams to ensure the prompt completion of tickets (open, aging, past due, escalations)
  • Communicate status to users and update ticket information
  • Liaison with vendors, clients and other teams for any required troubleshooting and/or support of projects
  • Assess end user disposition for escalation
  • Escalate tickets appropriately
  • Duties as assigned


  • Recent college graduate with little or no experience, but with relevant skills. 
  • Primary focus is on daily deliverable of routine and defined outputs, while at the same time developing knowledge of the broader context in which the work is being performed.
