The Research Specialist accurately researches and responds to various inquires to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines. This role completes research on loans to serve as support to internal customers, including all departments within Cenlar and responds on behalf of those departments.  The Specialist provides support to other operational areas on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities:

• Researches and resolves client issues which require in-depth research.  Provides a detailed and professional written response to the client upon resolution
• Answers client (Internal and External) inquiries professionally and courteously, while providing information and/or resolution to the matter
• Ensures all assigned tasks and emails are closed within compliance of established SLA’s       
• Meets the requirements for quality, productivity, and attendance
• Participates in all research campaigns and activities
• Suggests enhancements during regular One on Ones with the management team 
• Completes other duties and projects as assigned by their Manager  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or customer service/mortgage banking experience in a call center environment required
• Mortgage Servicing experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good math aptitude
• Excellent problem resolution skills with ability to identify root cause issues.
• Possess a professional and positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment
• Flexible and dependable 
• Work Saturdays, overtime, and holidays as needed
