Global Leadership Society Director - Major Cities
|Location:||Hillel International- Flexible|
|Job Type:||Hillel International|

It’s an incredibly exciting time to join Hillel International’s newly formed Global Leadership pillar. Through the Global Leadership pillar, Hillel International seeks to create a new model in the integration of volunteer leadership and development. Our comprehensive plan will address local, national, and global affiliates of Hillel to deepen their leadership and financial contributions, thereby strengthening the movement and driving excellence.
Over the last five years, as Hillel International has pursued its strategic plan, The Drive to Excellence, it has more than doubled the annual fundraising of its Schusterman International Center (from $25M to over $50M) and is well on its way of growing Hillel’s Total Movement Revenue from $90M to $200M per year (currently at $160M). As part of this growth, Hillel International has been able to dramatically increase the amount of grant dollars available to local affiliates at nearly 600 campuses in over 17 countries, while also providing complementary services and expertise to help maximize the impact of these grants.
With a focus on identifying, cultivating, and stewarding movement-wide Hillel supporters, Global Leadership Society Directors (GLS Directors) will be responsible for both connecting volunteer leaders to key opportunities that advance Hillel’s work, while also being responsible for achieving revenue targets as part of this leadership driven financial resource development strategy.
As Hillel International continues to pursue its short and longer term goals, the first cohort of GLS Directors will help shape this new cutting edge approach to volunteer leadership engagement and donor stewardship, utilizing its brand new Global Leadership Society platform for stewarding and recognizing the investments of donors throughout the Hillel Movement.
Having recently concluded a governance review, Hillel International’s new Board of Directors will also play an increased role in achieving its fundraising goals and will work in close partnership with GLS Directors.
The GLS Directors will report to the Vice President of Global Leadership and be integral members of the Global Leadership pillar and the Hillel International team.
