Inspire the Jewish future by joining Santa Barbara Hillel as our next Israel Engagement Associate: IACT. We are seeking an extroverted, well-organized person with a can-do attitude and a passion for Israel engagement and education to serve as the “quarterback” of our Jewish student life team on all things Israel-related. Currently offering multiple Israel trips annually, Santa Barbara Hillel is proud to be a leading national campus in the field of Israel engagement.
The core of your role is to excite and encourage students to go on a Birthright Israel trip by engaging students through innovative recruitment strategies and authentic relationship-building. This includes building and cultivating relationships with students, creating engaging events, developing brand-centric marketing materials, supervising a team of student interns and managing an expansive program budget. The Israel Engagement Associate: IACT is also responsible for pre and post-trip student experiences, creating a complete and holistic experience that connects them more deeply.
You will have extra support and networking as a member of a national cohort of campus coordinators in the Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP) of Greater Boston IACT (“Inspired, Active, Committed, Transformed”) Israel initiative.
