Hillel International is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the newly formed Global Leadership, Campaign Servicespillar. The ideal person for this job brings a natural analytical way of thinking to their work and is able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. This position serves as the business lead for our Salesforce NPSP. The Senior Business Analyst is based in our Washington, DC office and reports to the Vice President for Global Leadership Campaigns.

What You’ll Do:

  • Evaluate current business processes for Hillel’s International’s Salesforce NPSP, uncover areas for improvement and develop and implement solutions.
    • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
    • Document and communicate the results.
    • Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members.
    • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Responsible for data pulls, reporting and analytics from the Salesforce NPSP.
    • This includes creating Dashboards for a variety of metrics that need to be regularly tracked.
  • Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance.
  • Serve as business lead for Salesforce NPSP. This includes representation in meetings with other departments and working closely with Technology Services, our database management team and stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Develop documentation and communication on database standards and create tools to ensure data integrity throughout the system. Lead and implement strategy for and execution of large-scale, regular data hygiene through various appends, PCOA, NCOA, etc.
  • In coordination with Technology Services, oversee database management, including upgrades.
  • Integration of other systems used within Hillel International such as the new fiscal system, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, grants management and others as defined.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest process and technology advancements to automate and modernize systems.

 

What You’ll Bring to the Job:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or an MBA.
  • A minimum of seven years experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • The ability to work closely with stakeholders to determine solutions.
  • Experience in Salesforce NPSP.
  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
