The Storeroom Attendant is responsible for assisting in receiving and storing food and non-food items to the standard set by the Hotel, ensuring highest levels of hygiene and company satisfaction.

Ensures compliance with standards of Viceroy Snowmass at all times




Essential Responsibilities



  • Follows systems and methods of operation to ensure efficient receiving and correct storage of all items delivered to the Hotel in accordance with Viceroy policies and procedures
  • Assists with all phases of receiving, storage and replenishing of food and non-food items.
  • Maintains a system for dating and marking all items received
  • Maintains a system for advising department when items have arrived and a signing policy before releasing any items from the storeroom
  • Maintain clean and hygienic conditions in accordance with standardized company procedures in all assigned areas.
  • Always follows safe work practices.
  • To assist with carrying the items received from the receiving dock to the respective storeroom, after careful counting and checking. 
  • To assist with making the daily inventory and transferring data into hotel computer system
  • Promotes and maintains effective communication between all the departments of food production and accounting.
  • Assists with the month end physical inventories of food and non-food items.
  • To ensure that all the policies and procedures of the company are upheld.
  • To have a well-groomed appearance at all times.
  • To maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene.
  • Recording breakages & missing items and reporting these to the Storeroom Manager
  • To promote inter-departmental relations.
