As a Comprehensive Pharmacy Services Director of Pharmacy you will oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs.  This position supervises a full time Clinical Pharmacist, 5 FTE Pharmacists and 8 FTE Pharmacy Technicians. The pharmacy order entry system is EPIC.

About the Facility: SSM Heath St. Anthony Hospital - Shawnee is a Joint Commissioned accredited facility licensed for 114 acute beds,  and is operational at 98 beds.  SAS joined SSM Health Care, a Catholic, not-for-profit health system, and their hospital services include Med/Surg, Family Medicine, OB, ICU and Oncology in addition to a very busy ER.  The pharmacy is open from 6am to 10pm.  Management of the pharmacy is outsourced to CPS.

Required Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD)
  • Current OK license in good standing
  • Recent hospital pharmacy management experience
  • 340B experience
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other members of CPS and hospital and pharmacy staff
