Hours: 16-19 Hours/week - Rotating Shifts. Day, Evenings, Nights, M-F & Weekends. 

As a Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) Pharmacy Technician you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing; and auditing patient records. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

About the Facility:   Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is a state-of-the-art 456-bed facility offering a 24-hour Emergency Department, Level 1 Primary Stroke Center, Level II Trauma Center, three Family Health Centers and the only Burn Center serving San Bernardino, Riverside, Inyo and Mono counties. Management of the pharmacy is outsourced to Institutional Pharmacy Services, an affiliate of Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS).  Arrowhead provides Outpatient Pharmacy services as well as Inpatient Pharmacy Services.  The Inpatient Pharmacy is open 24/7 a week.  The Outpatient Pharmacy is open from  8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday - Saturday.

Required Qualifications:  

  • Current California Pharmacy Technician License in good standing
  • Current National PTCB Certification in good standing
  • Some experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital pharmacy preferred
