As Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) Director of Pharmacy you will have a full support team available to you. From a 340B Specialist, Regulatory Specialist, Drug Information Specialist, Operations specialists and more. We’ll rely on you to oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling and supervising activities in the hospital pharmacy according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and State and Federal laws.
 
About the Facility: Cottonwood Creek Behavioral Hospital (part of Haven Behavioral Healthcare) is proud to announce the opening of a brand new facility located at 2131 S. Bonito Way. This facility will greatly improve access to inpatient behavioral healthcare in the Treasure Valley and surrounding communities. This new, 72-bed psychiatric hospital will provide stabilization and treatment to adults and older adults experiencing acute psychiatric and/or co-occurring substance disorders. Patients will be treated through an array of inpatient and outpatient services. Services will be provided by a team of psychiatrists, specialty physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers and other professional staff dedicated to improving the quality of life of each patient. Each day, we will practice under the goals of excellence, stewardship, passion, respect, and vision and those entrusted to our care will receive compassionate support and treatment. The ongoing mission of Haven Behavioral Healthcare is to partner with the community and families to improve the life of each patient through the delivery of high quality, specialty behavioral health services. The Pharmacy will be totally automated utilizing CPOE/EMAR and Pyxis. The Pharmacy is management by CPS. All Pharmacy staff are employees of CPS. The Pharmacy will be open 8:00am - 4:30pm M-F.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • BS or PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Idaho pharmacist licensure in good standing
  • Experience as a pharmacy director in a hospital setting including responsibility for operations, clinical programs and staff management
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns and work cooperatively with other members of Comprehensive Pharmacy Services and hospital and pharmacy staff
