PHARMACY TECHNICIAN – FULL TIME (TEMPORARY)
Hours: This position will be working 40 hours per week, working 7:30am-3:30pm M-F. This position will have a start date of around March 1, 2019 and will be a temporary role, lasting about 3 months. There is opportunity to come on board before that time frame as Per Diem, as well as staying on Per Diem after the 3 month contract. Pharmacy Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-6:00pm; Weekends/Holidays 8:00am-2:00pm
Description: As a Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) Pharmacy Technician at Horsham Clinic, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; running the billing; and auditing patient records. You will need to be able to lift up to 20 pounds, be on your feet for extended periods of time, and walking to deliver medications several times daily within the campus.
About the Facility: Located on a 55-acre suburban campus near Philadelphia, Horsham Clinic is a 204-bed private behavioral healthcare facility that provides comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. Management of the pharmacy is outsourced to CPS.
