An educational technology company that partners with top colleges and universities to bring their degree programs online is looking to engage a talented and experienced motion designer on projects throughout each week during April, May and June 2020 and possibly beyond.
The work will be squarely focused on social media advertising for multiple platforms. Currently and also continuing for the entire duration of this assignment, all work can be done from remotely -- i.e. from your home.
The person in this role will work closely throughout each day with in-house staff designers and highly experienced design managers. There will be a high level of collaboration and communications regarding storyboards, design reviews, etc. Therefore we are looking to talk with designers who can work during normal business hours. This is essential. For this scope of work at least, we are not interested in hearing from designers who are only looking for evening/weekend work.
Brainstorm Creative Resources has been supporting the client organization since 2016. We can share additional information about the organization and examples of their existing social media advertising work with the most well qualified applicants.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Design and production of online advertising -- that's it!
* Excellent After Effects skills.
* Experience working with Adobe XD is preferred.
* A portfolio of motion graphics work that clearly demonstrates the depth and breadth of your experience. Example work that includes marketing and/or advertising-oriented animations will really get our attention.
All work can be done remotely -- i.e. from home. You will not need to visit the employer's offices. It's worth noting here that much of the employer's full-time staff works remotely as well.
We are seeking well qualified individuals who are interested in the following situation:
(1) project work;
(2) that must be done during typical business hours;
(3) and which can be done 100% from a remote location (your home, etc.);
(4) ongoing through at least June and possibly beyond.
Brainstorm Creative Resources strives to pay competitively. For this scope of work we are suggesting a rate range of $80/hour to $150/hour. Brainstorm Creative Resources typically posts pay rates in job descriptions, with high/low ranges that most often span $20 or $30. We have chosen to use a much broader range here to communicate our interest in hearing from demonstrably talented motion designers all along the experience timeline -- from newly minted design curriculum grads to highly experienced Art Directors.
It is unlikely (but not impossible) that we will be able to pay earlier career applicants near the top of the stated salary range. Alternatively, highly experienced professionals whose resumes and portfolios communicate substantial, relevant experience can expect that we will make a strong case to our client, to pay you near the top of the range. The actual rate offered will be commensurate with your experience and will largely be based on the following factors: credentials as detailed in your resume, your interview experiences with Brainstorm Creative Resources and/or our client, and quality of reference providers and references provided. Applicants should not expect to be offered the highest advertised rate. Although we are prepared to offer that rate to a senior design professional with ideal skills and experience, who can clearly support the rate request by sharing a salary history that indicates alignment with the request.
Brainstorm Creative Resources is a recruiting and staffing firm that has been focused on placing creative and editorial professionals into freelance and full-time positions with Washington, DC-area employers since 2003.
