Through a partnership with a 3rd party, our company will deliver 20,000 vehicles, along with all of associated maintenance and warranty work for the useful life of each vehicle.

This special Business to Business (B2B) relationship, will require a rethinking of the way that Jaguar Land Rover delivers and services vehicles.  With a focus on the needs of:

  • Fully autonomous vehicles

  • Fully electric vehicles

  • High-usage (miles and hours) cycles

  • Minimizing down time

Working together with the partner, this role will be responsible for defining the Jaguar Land Rover infrastructure and service delivery methods necessary to allow their autonomous mobility-as-a-service to be successful.  As a result, being at the forefront of the autonomous electric future.

As the Partnership Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and operations of Jaguar Land Rover, as it relates to this partner and their 20,000 vehicles.  In this leadership role, you will set the vision and direction for our operation and drive regional and global strategic alignment.  Through the effective use of resources, you’ll lead a large team to define and continuously improve the overall operation, increasing productivity and maintaining service levels. 

The Partnership Team is tasked to work together with the Partners Operations team, in order to define the overall operating models and required service infrastructure, for each city where the Partner will operate.  This will include total capacity needs, operating hours, service levels and all supporting business areas (i.e. parts supply, technical support, finance).  As the primary touch point with our Retailer network, you will also develop and negotiate the agreements necessary for them to deliver services as part of this breakthrough in mobility and vehicle usage. 

Your responsibilities will focus on three main areas:

STRATEGY: you’ll be the expert on what constitutes world class partner support and will make sure your teams are defining a new channel for Jaguar Land Rover Service.  This will include crafting and implementing the team structure, technology and processes that can ensure our partner gets support however, whenever and wherever they need.  You will align your strategy with broader company and department priorities, and translate this vision and strategy into actionable team goals. 

LEADERSHIP: you will lead, develop and inspire a talented team. You’ll foster a culture where people feel valued and excited to define a new future for Jaguar Land Rover, in terms of both B2B operations and autonomous mobility servicing.  Further, you’ll be building a deep bench of talented employees who are ready to take on greater responsibilities and bring this operational thought leadership into other areas of the business in the future.  You’ll also ensure that this team has the support they need from all other areas of the business that they interact with.

Location: Mahwah, NJ

Supervisory Responsibility: Initial team of four to be recruited/established, eventually growing to as many as twenty.

Travel:  30%

Key Criteria for the Role

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 10+ Years of experience in Service Operations, Fleet Operations and/or Project Management

  • Deep understanding of service operations

  • Strong background in franchise standards and agreements

  • Strong leadership and team building capabilities

  • Solid organization and prioritization capabilities

  • Experience with B2B partnerships and contracts
