Role and Responsibilities:

Under the responsibility of the Electrical Foreman, we are seeking for our Kruger Brompton Plant an Electronics Technician who is able to ensure preventative maintenance, and diagnose and repair the Plant’s boards and electronic components.

More specifically, you will:

  • Apply various health and safety procedures to ensure that work is performed efficiently, safely and in compliance with environmental standards;
  • Improve, optimize and diagnose various control, power and PLC logic systems, DCSs and QCS sensors for paper;
  • Respond to repair calls and perform planned maintenance:
    • ​Maintain variable speed drives and PLCs and respond to related service calls;
    • Maintain and repair high- and low-pressure control panels;
  • Perform all other related duties;

*Other fields of activity:  computer network/industrial communication (Modbus, TCP/IP, elec.); Windows 10 and server.


Qualifications and Experience:

Do you have a diploma of college studies in Electronics and Control or the equivalent?

*If you have a diploma of vocational studies in Electromechanics and Automated Systems as well as significant industry experience, your application may also be considered.

Do you have three to five years’ experience in industrial machine maintenance?

Are you outgoing and a team worker? Do you have a proven ability to be responsive and resourceful?

Benefits and Other Conditions:

  • Competitive salary:  $33.04 / hour.
  • Schedules: 40 hours / week, Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
