Role and Responsibilities:

Under the responsibility of the Mechanic Foreman, we are seeking for our Kruger Brompton Plant Industrial Mechanics who are able to maintain and repair various plant equipment during day/evening and night shifts.

More specifically,  you will:

  • Monitor equipment and oversee preventative maintenance.
  • Deal with various emergencies involving equipment damage, malfunctioning machines, etc. , carry out diagnostics, and repair plant equipment.
  • Perform all other related duties.

*The areas of activity are:  mechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics as well as all automated machines and/or machines in need of repairs (compressors, paper machines and winders, conveyors, refiners, disk screens...).

 

Qualifications and Experience:

Do you have a specialized diploma of vocational studies or diploma of college studies in Industrial Mechanics,  Electromechanics or the equivalent?

Are you comfortable with management through troubleshooting?

Do you have a minimum of two to five years’ experience in an industrial environment?

*Your plumbing, pipefitting and welding knowledge will be considered a real asset.

Benefits and Other Conditions:

  • Salary: $28.25 to $35.29/hour.
  • Eight-hour work schedule.
