Role and Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Cogeneration Superintendent, we are seeking for our Kruger Brompton Plant a Process Engineer – Energy who is able to organize, lead, monitor and coordinate daily cogeneration facility operation so as to generate the power and steam needed to reach the Plant’s quantitative and qualitative targets.

More specifically, you will:

  • Promote good workplace health and safety and work environment practices;
  • Provide the necessary technical expertise to assist your team in resolving daily issues;
  • Provide technical support in order to identify, measure and monitor manufacturing process variations for performance optimization, equipment preservation and cost-reduction purposes;
  • Replace the Foreman during vacation periods and leaves; and
  • Perform all other related duties.


Qualifications and Experience:

Are you a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and do you have training in Mechanical, Electrical , Chemical or Biotechnological Engineering?

Do you have relevant experience in the manufacturing sector?

Are you outgoing and a team worker? Are you able to demonstrate leadership?

*Knowledge of computer systems and software (Office, JD Edwards) will be considered an asset.
