Role and Responsibilities:

Under the responsibility of the Cogeneration Superintendent, we are seeking for our Kruger Brompton Plant a Production Superintendent who is able to plan, organize, lead and monitor a team of approximately 20 collaborators at our Thermal Power Plant / Biomass Cogeneration Plant / SBR. 

More specifically, you will :

  • Diagnose operational issues and show leadership in resolving them:
    • Ensure equipment productivity and reliability within the context of a maintenance strategy that is directly linked to stationary engineers;
    • Manage your team’s performance and coach on work methods, particularly in terms of occupational health and safety hazard prevention; and
    • Coordinate and communicate maintenance needs based on priorities and resource availability.
  • Control cost elements and ensure compliance with quality standards and environmental policies;
  • Play an advisory and facilitating role in carrying out continuous improvement mandates, by using existing tools, including visual checks, 5 S and communication tools; and
  • Perform all other related duties.


Qualifications and Experience:

Do you have a your Stationary Engineer certificate and personnel management experience?                                

Are you an engineer who is member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec?                                                                                        

Do your experience in renewable energy generation and your mechanical, hydraulic and thermal knowledge make you a go-to person in your field?                                                                                                     

*Personnel management experience will be considered an asset!
